PROGUARD® HESSIAN CLOTH 1.37 X 46M

Made from the Jute plant, hessian fabric is a versatile and affordable material that serves a valuable purpose within the construction industry. Its long bast fibre is spun into coarse, strong threads, producing an open weave hessian cloth that can be utilised for a number of purposes.

Due to its excellent thermal properties, it is often used in the construction industry to protect brickwork, mortar and concrete during the cold period. In summer, hessian can be soaked to stop concrete or cement from drying too quickly.

Whatever you need it for, our stock of hessian cloth roll will suit your needs. Both breathable and biodegradable, this eco-friendly fabric, also known as Jute and burlap, is available in 1.37m x 46m rolls. Each roll of our hessian cloth is single wound.

To use, simply unroll the cloth and cut to your desired size with a knife or scissors. Once the area that needs protecting is covered by the hessian, you can secure it in place with cable ties or weights.
