Kind & Co needed help protecting expensive doors with a cost-effective method...we provided the solution!

Kind & Co are a highly regarded principal contractor with turnover topping £36 million. Many of their projects include high-end residential refurbishment and the installation of fixtures and fittings necessitated a good protection system to reduce the likelihood of damage occurring.

Beck were pleased to receive an enquiry from Kind & Co initially requesting advice on how to protect some expensive doors which needed to be transported to site. The cost was also key so we had the challenge of providing the best impact protection at the lowest possible cost.

We recommended a cost-effective solution which included self-adhesive fleece, bubble wrap and a low tack easy tear tape all to be used in conjunction with each other for ultimate protection to ensure that the doors were protected in such a way that damage wouldn’t occur during the transit and that the protection material was easily removed when it reached the site.

Mr Tom Costello, Senior Buyer at Kind & Co, said “The team at Beck were very helpful and provided a solution to a specific challenge we had. Doors are one of the costliest fixtures in a construction project and it is well worth the effort and small additional cost to ensure they are protected from damage during transit.”
