About our Protection Boards
Our protection boards keep floors, walls, and other surfaces safe from damage during construction, renovation, and other building projects. The range covers two main types of board so that you can match the protection to the job.
CORREX® and other similar boards are made from lightweight corrugated polypropylene. They're easy to cut and fit, and they guard against impacts, spills and debris. They come in standard, flame-retardant and recycled versions.
Bufferboard® is our heavy-duty option. Its honeycomb structure resists crushing, tearing, and punctures, making it suited to high-traffic areas and use under plant machinery. It's 100% waterproof, reusable and a lighter alternative to plywood or hardboard. We also have LPS certification for our FR Bufferboard® products.
Both boards are recyclable, and CORREX® boards can go through our CollectBack Recycling Scheme.

Do I need a CORREX® or Bufferboard®? ▼
CORREX® is best for general surface protection. It's lightweight, easy to cut and fit, and guards against impacts, spills and debris. Choose Bufferboard® for heavy-duty jobs. Its honeycomb structure resists crushing, tearing and punctures, so it suits high-traffic areas and use under plant machinery.
Do you have flame-retardant protection boards? ▼
Yes. Our protection board range, including CORREX®, includes flame-retardant protection boards in black, translucent and door-size versions. Our flame-retardant Bufferboard® is LPS certified.
Are Beck’s protection boards eco-friendly? ▼
Beck’s protection boards are designed with sustainability in mind. These boards are reusable across multiple projects. We also offer a recycled protection board, and you can return CORREX® boards and Bufferboard® through our CollectBack Recycling Scheme.
