We recently had the opportunity to work with leading door supplier, Frameline, to protect a large number of doors they supplied to several Bellway Homes residential developments.
Our PROGUARD® Doorguard is a fantastic door protection solution that will keep doors safe during all stages of a project - from manufacture to completion. These door protectors boast a unique Velcro tab system for quick and easy application around the door and allow door handles to protrude. Hinges are also left accessible for easy installation. It is made from high impact protection board and can be made in bespoke sizes to fit different size doors. Further still, the protection board is recyclable through our Closed-Loop Recycling Scheme, helping both door manufacturers and the contractors they work with keep their projects more sustainable.

Most recently, we have used it to protect a large amount of doors supplied to several Bellway sites. The results have been so good that we are planning on expanding its use across more of our projects.
Previously, we were trying to protect our product using standard packaging materials like “Jiffy” foam & pallet stretch wrap which was applied at our factory and then discarded by contractors on site when doors were unpacked. Aside from this process not being environmentally friendly, this method also didn’t provide an adequate level of impact protection, and we were getting returns and claims for replacement doors which were very costly – not ideal!
Doorguard is already cut to size to fit our doors and by using a simple velcro strap system to attach, it is easy and quick to apply at our factory at the point of manufacture and installation. If the doors ever need to be inspected or when it’s time to install them, removing the protection is a painless process without any clean up needed.
In addition, Beck also offers a recycling scheme which we have started taking advantage of. This makes it easy for us to dispose of the used protection responsibly and keeps us on track with our own sustainability aims and targets.’’
